These terms apply to your use of Spooky October Melbourne. By browsing this site you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Independent status
Spooky October Melbourne is an independent guide to Halloween in Melbourne. We are not the organiser of Spooktober or any other festival named on this site, we are not affiliated with St Kilda Town Hall or any venue, and we do not sell tickets, take bookings or recruit staff or performers. Any resemblance to an official festival site is coincidental; this is an editorial project researching Halloween in Melbourne, including its history.
Historical content
Several pages describe attractions, activities and events that formed part of past Halloween festivals in Melbourne, including Spooktober in St Kilda. This content is written in the past tense, as history, based on publicly available sources. It does not mean that attraction, event or offer is currently running, and you should not treat it as a current programme or booking information.
External links
This site links to other websites for context, further reading or as sources for historical claims. We do not control these sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or accuracy. A link does not imply endorsement.
No warranty
We try to keep information accurate and current, but Halloween events, opening hours, transport options and venue details can change without notice. Always check directly with an event or venue before making plans, and treat this site as background reading rather than a definitive source.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the site develops. See our privacy policy for how we handle personal information, and use the contact page if you have questions about these terms.
